Electrical Inspectors Association of British Columbia We are the Electrical Inspectors’ Association of British Columbia (EIA of BC). We are the voice of the Electrical Inspector and a partner in the electrical industry within the Province of British Columbia. Our goals are simple but hard to achieve. Electrical Safety and electrically safe installations throughout the province is our realm. We strongly believe in uniform interpretation of the Canadian Electrical Code and foster education and awareness of safety on a daily basis. We believe in a well educated and certified electrical workforce, where electrical safety is first and foremost a by-product of the skills of dedicated professionals, whose efforts are reviewed by another group of dedicated professionals, the Electrical Inspector.
